WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Willard Helander reminds registered voters in North Chicago Wards 2 and 4 and Waukegan Wards 2, 3, 6, and 8 that early voting for the February 22, 2011 Consolidated Primary begins today and ends Thurs., Feb 17. Early voting is available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake County Clerk's office, 18 N. County St. Waukegan, Illinois.

Early voters are required to present a valid Illinois driver's license, an Illinois identification card issued by the Secretary of State, or another valid government-issued identification document containing their photograph.

"Early voting continues to be a popular choice for Lake County voters. Because February 22 may be busy, select the day and time most convenient for you and vote early," said Helander.

Voters can visit LakeVoterPower.info and enter information to confirm their registration at their current address, see a sample ballot, and find their Election Day voting site.
