ARTreach PROGRAMS

ARTreach Programs are about ART and EDUCATION and are designed to REACH, support, and improve the lives of individuals and communities in need.  ARTreach offers innovative art programs to address the educational and social needs represented by students, parents and teachers in our school districts, as well as by clients and caseworkers in welfare agencies, county courts and social service.  Art can be utilized to enhance an educational approach, provide enrichment, or support counseling.

ARTreach responds to all needs and requests and will develop and pilot art programs to support specific issues related to education and social skills development. ARTreach evaluates the impact of the art program, and supports the funding of ARTreach Programs for schools and communities in need.

Mentoring through Art

ARTreach Programs serving children at risk

These programs are developed for campuses and school districts that are seeking programs that improve education through arts integration and make learning to read, understanding math, and grasping science and history easier for students.  ARTreach "Mentoring through Art" programs also support adaptive and transitional behavior, or can be utilized as an expressive art avenue that helps a student cope with depression or survive a crisis.  Schools and social service agencies that are seeking programs that will improve self-esteem, improve test scores, reduce drop-out rates, teach about healthier lifestyles, the environment, and support a better future turn to ARTreach. We are combining mentoring, education and life skills with art. Mentoring through Art is an important and valuable program ARTreach develops and delivers to children at risk.  You can help! ARTreach is in need of individuals who can donate 3 hours per week training and sharing their time and talent with children, ARTreach accepts gifts of quality art supplies and seeks a minimum of $360 dollars donated per week to support this valuable outreach program serving children at risk in the school districts. That's $18,720 per year. ARTreach relies on foundation grants, corporations, businesses and individuals for support. Please make a tax-deductible donation today to support this program.

Within My Reach!

ARTreach Programs serving children and adults with special needs

These art programs are individually developed to support children or adults with special needs. Students with Downs Syndrome, autism, or other developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities are benefitting from ARTreach Programs that teach life skills and train in an art vocation. The "Within My Reach" Program increases a student's confidence, and promotes inclusion and acceptance in our society. Teachers and parents are looking for ways their students and children with special needs can achieve their potential to become happier, well-connected and productive members of the community. ARTreach programs in this arena are working to support continued education, social skills development, and enrichment to improve the overall quality of life for individuals with special needs.

 ElderlyARTbeat

ARTbeat!

ARTreach Programs serving seniors, fragile elderly and individuals with Alzheimer's

ARTreach Programs serving senior citizens, the fragile elderly or individuals with Alzheimer's are designed to improve the mental, emotional and physical state of an individual or group. ARTbeat combines art, dance and music to enrich a person's life, integrate generations and connect individuals to their communities. ARTreach ARTbeat Programs are also offered through hospitals and medical care facilities to support recovery and improve overall health. ARTreach seeks $10,000 in grants and donations per year to offset fees related to professional artists, volunteer training and art supplies to make creative art and social programs accessible to a wider populations of seniors and elderly in need.

ARTreach Juvenile Justice Programs

Juvenile Detention Centers and Residential Treatment Centers serving foster care represent our youth at highest risk of dropping out of school, living on the street, or ending up in prison. ARTreach develops programs that will support state licensing expectations related to education and enrichment. The arts will help expand a youth's view on the world and open the door to a more positive future. ARTreach Programs have a highest impact in this arena, because these children represent the most neglected in our society. The children we encounter here are the most inspired by the recognition of their own artistic talents and the influence their talent has on their ability to achieve success. This is a good place for creative art programs to be. Please donate your time and any dollars to support juvenile justice programs.

General Audiences, Schools and Community Programs

The Arts bring the community to life and provide a cultural connection! Art supports economic development and tourism to create livable communities. Contact ARTreach to discuss bringing an ARTreach signature event or presentation to your community. General Audience, School and Community Programs are sponsored by ARTreach PARTners.
