Spotlight Artist: Fatima Donaldson

Fatima Donaldson, Photographer/Artist
A picture is more than an image. It's the opportunity to capture a unique moment - tell a story - provoke interest - stir an emotion - share an idea. It is for these and many more reasons Fatima has a passion for photography.

Fatima's exhibit is called Rocks and Roots and a Few Things More.

Fatima's exhibit focuses on her photographic nicknames and what she is most recognized for: "rocks & roots gal" and "macro queen".  She wears both titles proudly and even more so loves being in settings that present the opportunity to capture yet one more image.

Fatima also works with ARTreach to provide marketing consultation and marketing deliverables.  Her company, Fala Creative is the developer of the ARTreach site as well as charged to design many of the ARTreach deliverables you receive in the form of photography, slideshow videos, marketing flyers, email blasts and many more, Fatima and Fala Creative are behind the scenes providing dynamic marketing tools to help spread the ARTreach message.

Mentoring Through ART programs
Danny Russo Screen Printing

Danny Russo - Environmental Awareness and the Arts! The art of original screen printing.  Last month, kids had a chance to print their own posters for free! This month, our volunteers will be working with visitors to paint for a worthy cause! Paint a Cup of Caring - sales benefit ARTreach program serving seniors and individuals with Alzheimer's.
ARTwork recently completed at WE Care Residential Treatment Center in The Woodlands will be on exhibit with additional information available about this program supporting teens in crisis.

ARTwork was inspired by the 2010 State Reflections Winner, "LOST" by Jackie Nemeth. The WE Care art project was facilitated by ARTreach's master artist in residence, Vickie McMillan.
