When times get tough, its time to get creative!

ARTreach creates a stimulus package that benefits the community

ARTreach is a grassroots non-profit that has been providing art opportunities designed to build self esteem and success since 2003. This creative non-profit was born in Katy, Fort Bend County and over the years has helped define best practices in the innovative field of art and social service.

Whether we think of Art or Outreach, it is the vision of ARTreach to unite, inspire and empower people of all ages to envision a successful future.  The organization serves targeted populations in need, but right now, we'll find ARTreach is responding to the needs of the general community by helping local residents focus on a positive future!  ARTreach is utlizing the arts to stimulate the economy and improve our state of mind!

ARTreach Programs have always introduced art as a way to cope with depression, anger, social dysfunction and grief. These programs are greatly beneficial in nurturing the spirit and addressing recovery.
Now the economy is depressed, and many people today are falling into the same mode of thinking. The media feeds into the many reasons why people become depressed when the economy is depressed. We feel stricken by financial misfortune; we worry about our jobs, our homes, and our financial future.

ARTreach encourages us to take deep breath, open our mind, hear the music, see the rainbow in the darkness... and take the first steps down the road towards recovery!

Art is an economic stimulant!  It is a complete stimulus package! Art stimulates the mind and the creative thinking process, it relieves the body of stress, and it fills the soul with joy!  ARTreach is excited to offer the community a very creative stimulus package that gives us great reasons to go out and spend a little money. Enjoying art and music makes a person feel positive, hopeful and good about things, and we enjoy ourselves even more when we can help others at the same time.

Join ARTreach and businesses all over Katy who are providing art and music opportunities to families and friends with events designed to nurture our health, our spirit and our recovery with proceeds benefitting ARTreach Programs.

ARTreach invites you to celebrate life, celebrate the times, and our positive future at the following ARTreach Community Events.
