What's new at ARTreach

ARTreach is utilizing new studio space donated by Ceramics by Tess, located in the Times Square Shopping Center at Grand Parkway near I-10, to offer free clay and ceramics lessons to the elderly and Alzheimer's patients.  Assisted Living Communities that are looking for engaging, free and very creative field trip opportunities for their residents are invited to the ARTreach Studio. Photo is of Cheryl Krey of Extreme Technologies, Inc, volunteering in a special Holiday workshop that made ornaments with residents of Sunrise Assisted Living Community of Cinco Ranch.

This project is funded by the Allen Morris Foundation. ARTreach is offering workshops in Katy, Lufkin and Austin that are open to students who wish to participate in the project.
