Dear Friends,
I love the Fall! Football (specifically college football - Go Dawgs! :-) - the anticipation of cooler weather (though it is still a couple months away) and entering into a more "normal" routine with school and church life, all these things and more get me energized. In someways we turn down a notch in the summer; one service, no classes, fewer events and now we change gears and ramp up. There will be lots of opportunities to plug in and get involved...
This Sunday, September 9th we will launch our fall programming and we will return to two services. Our Sunday morning schedule will be... 8am - Holy Communion Rite II 9am - Christian Formation Classes / Adult and Youth Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Levels 1-3 10:15am - Holy Communion Rite II

In the next few weeks look for announcements regarding a Newcomers Dinner; Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University; St. Francis Day Service to name a few things coming up.
This Sunday is also our anniversary - We will be 6 years old! There is much to be thankful for and celebrate in the Incarnation family and life.
On Sunday, Don Sweeting will be our guest preacher to mark this day. Don is the president of RTS-Orlando and he is a remarkable man of God. You can read about him on his blog CLICK HERE We will all be encouraged by his ministry among us.
Blessings abound...
in the mission,
Fr. Jon+

Financial Update...
At our last vestry meeting on August 28th we discussed at length our financial position. It is serious and we have implemented a freeze on all spending (excluding our must pay obligations). We had some unforeseen expenses and some of our accounts have tracked higher than expected. The current deficit is around $12,000.00. We are not in debt and have covered these expenses with our cash reserve. However that is almost fully depleted. Join me and the vestry in prayer, for wisdom as we look at where we can trim expenses and what we can do to address this situation. I have learned in ministry when moments like this come into our life it makes me pray and lean on the Lord for understanding and provision. If you want more information you can contact me, our Senior Warden, Tommy Hagood or our Treasurer, Greg Seavers
