Prayer for the week...
The Collect for the 7th Sunday after Pentecost / Proper 10
O Lord, mercifully receive the prayers of your people who call upon you, and grant that they may know and understand what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to accomplish them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Dear Friends,
See below for some news from our General Convention and some of Pastor Robin's reflections from her time there as a visitor. Reading the news from General Convention was alarming and at times grieving as resolutions were passed that moved us further from the historic, classic and orthodox Christian Faith. Does it change anything at Incarnation? I think not, we stay focused on the mission to bring the Kingdom of God to people day by day, moment by moment. We pray, worship, give, serve, proclaim the Gospel. We love God with all we are; we love each other and we share this AMAZING LOVE with the world in the work of the Great Commission (Matthew 28). Feel free to contact me personally if you have questions comments or concerns. In all this it made me think of our need to always be grounded in God's Word (as I spoke about on Sunday). I saw the following cartoon on the internet...
