Dear Friends,

We continue the journey, although given the Gospel from Sunday - Let's call it a VOYAGE.  It is a voyage dependent upon Christ Jesus.  He is the one who can speak peace and calm the storms of our lives when we anchor our identity as followers and disciples. We sail on the seas of His love; giving, serving, sacrificing and more all for the sake of people coming to know and love Jesus.  Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel in "word and deed" - by what we say and by what we do.  I would add and I believe it is assumed these actions are done in God's love - heavenly compassion, mercy, kindness, and grace.

Telling the truth can be tough.  It is often the most loving thing we can do.   When the question is asked "What Would Jesus Do?"  the default answer is LOVE!

May this day find us growing in the love of Christ Jesus...

in the mission,

Fr. Jon+
