Dear Friends,

We had a rich and profound Healing Conference at Canterbury this past weekend.  The Rev. Dr. Sharon Lewis was with us with a team from her ministry Amazing Love Healing Ministry
Pastor Sharon was also with us on Sunday at Incarnation and you can hear her sermon (click here)

God desires for each of healing and wholeness.  When you consider the ministry of the Messiah as detailed in Isaiah 61 we find these familiar words...

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.  (Isaiah 61:1-3)

The normal experience for the follower of Christ should include: the Good News; broken hearts mended; liberty and freedom; broken bondage; comfort in grief; gladness and joy; strength to live and more.  Not only are we to receive these things as a part of our salvation we are also called to be a conduit where these things will flow through us to the world.   We receive and we give, we are healed to bring healing and like Abraham - we are blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2)

This is the work of God for each and everyone of us when we repent and believe the Gospel and Philippians 1:6 reminds us...   "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

This is our calling, this is our ministry...
