Collect for the 6th Sunday after Epiphany
O
God, the strength of all who put their trust in you: Mercifully accept our prayers; and because in our weakness we can do nothing good without you, give us the help of your grace, that in keeping your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Friends,

I sense deeply we are entering into a special time and expectation is growing in me as we continue to move forward in the mission and ministry.  I look forward to sharing with you some of the details at the annual meeting next Sunday (Continental Breakfast begins at 9:45am and the annual meeting begins at 10am in the dining room at Canterbury)  Suffice it to say I believe we are entering a new season.  After a couple years of figuring out how to be a church on a conference center campus we are now moving into greater and fruitful function in this setting.  I sense profoundly I have been reaffirmed in my calling as your vicar and I am eager to see what God will do.   I hope to see you at the meeting and will share more of what I sense God is saying to us and wanting to do in us and through us as His people in this place.

May God grant us grace in the journey and may He find us faithful in each moment...

in the mission,

Father Jon+

Wednesday Night Family Prayer Meeting

We will gather for a light "soup supper" at 6:30pm on the patio at the chapel (contact Fr. Jon if you would like to volunteer to provide a soup meal) Donations will be appreciated.  Our service a of prayer will begin at 7pm and we will end with a celebration of Eucharist.  Join us for this time as we "press in" to know the Lord and to sit at His feet and hear His voice.
