Merry Christmas!
(Christmas continues for a few more days)
Dear Friends, As we enter 2012 I do so with great expectation. I am hopeful for growth in our midst. We have been growing in our knowledge and love of the Lord and I hope that will continue grow deep as we dig into the disciplines of prayer, bible study, fellowship and finding places to serve. I believe also we have grown in our understanding of our call to be a church on the campus of a conference center, This is a unique situation for a congregation and over the last two years we have been figuring out how to walk this path. I sense we will begin to "master plan" in partnership with Canterbury developing a long range strategy for our shared ministries.. This will take great prayer, listening to the Lord and working with one another, May God grant us favor and order our steps in this process. I also think we are poised to grow in numbers and influence in this community. There are people all around us who are in need. some are searching for answers, some have are trapped in darkness and lost their way. Whatever the situation we stand as God's people with the love of Jesus ready to bring light and relief to the world around us. So let us be prayerful as we grow and in 2012 may we bear the Fruit of the Spirit in abundance, overflowing with love for God and love for each other; set on a mission in love to proclaim the Gospel to the world. May God grant us grace in the journey and may He find us faithful in each moment... in the mission, Father Jon+ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DAVID TEEMS...
