Dear Friends,
What a wonderful, full and rich weekend at Canterbury and Incarnation. From a joyous wedding to a celebration of our 5th anniversary as an organized mission of the Diocese of Central Florida; we had a special baptism at the 8:30am service - (read below from Pastor Robin) to meaningful memorial of 9/11 and the terror attacks that scarred our nation ten years ago to amazing music and ministry by Jennifer LaMountain - all I can say is that I am full and blessed to be the Vicar of such a wonderful family! FROM PASTOR ROBIN...
What a beautiful day we had at Church of the Incarnation! The morning included the spontaneous baptism of Brielle Ruby Chalmers - daughter of Christy Bates and granddaughter of Larry & Linda Varney. Just two days earlier, we spent about two hours talking together - concluding our time with her prayers, receiving Jesus into her heart and asking him to be her Lord and Savior! I am reminded of these words, following Pentecost (the birthday of the Church): "...and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved" (Acts 2:47). What better way to celebrate our birth as a congregation? As we grow in our love and mission to follow Christ, He will continue to bless and add to our numbers. Happy Birthday Church of the Incarnation! Jim, Bethany, Abigail, James, and I are so glad to be part of this wonderful family and thankful for the love and fellowship we have among you.
