A big and fun day at Incarnation...
We had a great Fellowship Breakfast (prepared by some of our Young Adults - THANKS!) Kim Koi the Area Director for Intervarsity was our speaker and you can check out Kim's ministry CLICK HERE. Incarnation supports Kim financially as a part of our outreach.

It was food Sunday and the Gospel was about the feeding of 5000 (a nice little coincidence) Thanks for all those who brought food - there was a big car load taken over to Hope Foundation and their food bank ministry.
I used this quote from Frank Lake in my sermon...
When such a human loaf of men and women, thoroughly baked together as persons, is presented to God in the Holy Communion, to be taken, as one, into His hands, to be blessed and broken, He will in faithfulness to His covenant, confirm His church; in their fellowship, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is a nice picture of what CHURCH IS! We are bread in the hands of the Master to be given in sacrifice to feed the world - taken by Christ, blessed by Christ, broken by Christ and given to the world with the aroma of Jesus - this is one way to understand our Kingdom calling! A Few Things...
Canterbury and Incarnation are resisting the development of adjoining property to the Canterbury campus where a RACETRAC gas station and convenience store is proposed. There are several public meetings regarding this development:
Development Review Committee public meeting: Thursday, Aug. 4, / 2:00pm / City Council Chambers
Planning Zoning and Appeals Board public hearing: Tuesday, Aug. 23 / 6:30pm / City Council Chambers
City Council 1st reading:
Thursday, Sept. 8 /6:30 pm /City Council Chambers
City Council 2nd reading and adoption public hearing: Monday, Sept. 19, / 6:30 pm / City Council Chambers
