Dear Friends,
This week in my various preparations for sermons and such I was reminded of the music of Andrae Crouch and the Disciples.
Andrae was a forerunner in Christian music bringing a soulful expression of faith, hope and love. You can check out many of his classics on YOU TUBE (click here)
There are a lot of things that fuel us in our journey of faith. We should read and study; serve and give; pray and worship; fellowship with other believers; share our faith; all of these are essential disciplines for a disciple of Jesus. I find music to be a powerful force speaking deep truths to me and giving me a soundtrack as I seek to give Jesus my all day by day. Good music incorporates both prayer and teaching and can inspire us in melody to greater love for the Lord. I commend to you this week to consider what music has spoken to you and stoked the fire of faith in your life.
May God grant us to hear the cadence of His Kingdom...
