A number of us are off for the annual convention of the Diocese of Central Florida (check out the diocesan home page for details on this event... www.cfdiocese.org YOur delegation includes the clergy, myself, Pastor Robin, Deacon Dave and Deacon Dick.  As a mission we have two lay delegates and they are Jose Rodriguez and Gary Jackson, Sandra Costin is attending as an alternate delegate.   Jim Morical is also going to help run the Canterbury booth (we all will be pitching in to do this as well).  Please pray for the convention, our Bishop, the diocese and the mission and ministry of the church.

Almighty and everliving God, source of all wisdom and

understanding, be present with those who take counsel

at St. George's in the Villages for the annual convention of the Diocese of Central Florida, for the renewal and mission of your Church. Teach us in all things to seek first your honor and glory. Guide us to perceive what is right, and grant us both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
