Dear Friends,
As we consider all we have been given by God we should be grateful. This has been an on going theme in my prayers lately. I give thanks for many things. My family, my home, the church, the calling, this nation, and more. More so however it is a focus on seeing all that God has done for me - seeing all these things that come from his hand to pour into me abundant life. His mercy, grace, peace, power, provision, kindness, comfort, assurance, and more are all expressions of his covenant love and they are mine by faith in Christ. I have a choice: I can dwell on the problems and difficulties of this world or I can let my vision rise to see the greatness of God and in doing so I am lifted up in Him. The old hymn is true...
Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face And the things of earth Will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace
May we fix our eyes on Jesus with gratitude and praise in doing so we are transformed and are given the power to change the world at least the little corner of it we call home. I am yours...

A Few Things...
If you would like to volunteer to serve at the Friends of Canterbury Dinner on Sunday Evening / October 24th contact Susan Gregory. Please pray for Canterbury - for it to succeed in its mission and ministry.
We are working on the logistics of being and functioning at Canterbury as a congregation. Canterbury's schedule is quite fluid and changes week to week depending on the groups that are using the facility. If you have a need to book a meeting for an Incarnation ministry or program you can contact Shelly Buchan who will coordinate this for you (shelly@incarnationoviedo.com) If you simply need to get access to the chapel for a set-up (i.e. altar guild / flower guild) call Canterbury and check on availability (407-365-5571)
We are currently taking pictures for a New Church of the Incarnation members Directory. Please see Jose on Sunday so he can snap a shot OR if you have a good family photo you like send a digital copy to Shelly.
