We will hold our annual meeting on Sunday January 24th following the morning service in the St. Augustine chapel at Canterbury.
This is an exciting time in the life of our congregation with great opportunity as we define the future in terms of the Canterbury partnership. The annual meeting agenda is simple:
There will be two reports: Sr. Warden's Report and the Vicar's Report on the state of the mission.
We will review the budget the vestry approved for 2010.
We will elect three new vestry members to serve 3 year terms. (the vestry terms of Dick Costin, Jose Rodriguez, and Roseddy Montgomery expire)
Candidates for vestry: Must be baptized
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must be confirmed
Must be a communicant in good standing and a qualified elector (working, praying and giving for the spread of the Kingdom of God)
Must be a member of your parish or mission
May not be employed or "engaged" by the parish
May not be the spouse or immediate family member of a person employed or engaged by the congregation
Cannot be a member of the clergy (clergy are not technically members of congregation)
Should be faithful in corporate worship
