Collect for the week
Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve: Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

All Things Bright and Beautiful...
Dear Friends,

What a glorious day we had on Sunday!  Our good friend Dave Buehring preached a wonderful sermon on The Fear of the Lord.  It is on our website and I commend it to you.   The Children's Choir had their debut performance and it brought such to joy to me personally and I sense the whole congregation as they led us in the Gospel Hymn; All Things Bright and Beautiful (remembering St. Francis Day).   Thank you Heather Rodriguez and Dani Tipple for taking this on and for all the kids who sang to the glory of God!  I continue to be amazed, thrilled and so very blessed in this calling.  Every Sunday we gather I feel we are moving forward, grasping more of God's calling.

Christina Madak has taken over our website!  (with permission of course) and she has redesigned our look and added new content. I am very excited with her taking on this role. Look for more information and functionality in the days ahead. There might be a few glitches here and there as we go through the transition so please be patient with us.  We are indebted to Christina as our new webmaster and if you are in need of help with your own website I would commend her to you.   You can contact her via email:  cmadak1227@gmail.com

The time with our architect Rick Swisher was productive, valuable and important as we move along in envisioning what we will build to house the ministries of Incarnation. We continue to move forward in truth and love, grace and hope and in doing so I know these dreams will be a reality soon.

Living, dwelling and rejoicing in the land where blessings abound!

Fr. Jon / Vicar

dio shield Diocesan Strategic Plan
In April of 2008, Bishop Howe wrote a pastoral letter which was the reason for several resolutions passed at the Diocesan Convention in January in 2009.  Subsequently, Bishop Howe appointed a Strategic Planning Commission to respond to Resolution-8 that called upon the Diocese to "develop a long range strategic plan" and to "infuse" the Diocese with this vision and carry them into the future with measurable objectives.  In support of this, the commission has reached out to all of the clergy and vestries for input to three questions.  In support of answering the three questions:

    1.  What is the most important part of the Pastoral Letter to you and your people?
    2.  How do you envision implementing this vision in your congregation and community?
    3.  What would be of most help to you in terms of Diocesan support as you seek to
          Implement this vision?

Greg Seavers will be the leading the effort for Incarnation.  We have set a submission date of the 6th of November.  We at Incarnation are looking for inputs from all members versus just the Vestry.   Please contact Greg for further details if you would like to get involved with this.  gseavers@bellsouth.net.
