Dear Friends,
A few things to share with you...
As I shared last week the youth group had a tremendous retreat at Valle Crucis, NC. You can view a video record of this event on our website CLICK HERE
Second, at our vestry meeting on Tuesday evening we made a decision to hire an architect; Mr. Rick Swisher of Winter Park, Florida. It was a unanimous decision and recommendation by the Long Range Planning Committee tasked with this responsibility and the vestry also unanimously agreed. Thus we begin another segment in our journey, in the months ahead there will be meetings and planning involving the congregation in the design, articulating our needs and "painting a picture" of what we will build. Much more information will be coming soon, stay tuned.
Third, Reni Ruprecht raising money for her Uganda trip this summer. She will be working with Uganda Partners and helping out at orphanages and Uganda Christian University. If you would like to make donation or want more info you can call Reni at 407-252 -2176
Fourth, we had a great week of Vacation Bible School. It has been an exploration of faith and love as told through the life of the Apostle Paul. You can view a video record of the week on our website, CLICK HERE
So many gave of their time and energy and on behalf of Rev. Sarah and the whole congregation I want to express my gratitude for all the hard work.

Finally, Prayer and Praise This Wednesday Evening / 6pm at the Mission House!
We will gather for dinner (provided for us by the youth group as a fundraiser - donations appreciated). Our evening will continue with a teaching by The Rev. Dr. Reggie Kidd - Reggie is a gifted teacher, professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary and a good friend of mine. He will inspire and challenge us in our faith and journey. We will end with a Eucharist. There will be a children's program and nursery provided. This will be a special evening, join us for the fellowship and fun!
Living where blessings abound! The Rev. Jon Davis+ / Vicar
