Dear Friends,

I have just completed a week-long clergy continuing education event called Credo.  There were elements of the event that were very positive and some that were difficult and tedious.  Overall I am glad I went as it affirmed one thing I knew, Church of the Incarnation is a blessing.  I listened to other clergy bemoan their congregations and vestries, sometimes to the point of whining.  They complained about various aspects of the ministry and many were miserable in their vocation.  I however walked away sensing a deeper appreciation for the thriving mission in Oviedo where I described myself as "fiercely loved" by the members and where not one day has been a day of "work" but rather days filled with "wonder, love and praise!"  Let me say thank you to all who have prayed and contributed to the journey of faith and grace Incarnation is. Most of all, thanks and praise to God for His mercy and kindness in bringing us to a place where we can grow in our knowledge and love for Him and see His Kingdom expand day by day.

Vacation Bible School begins next Monday, June 15th details are below.  It is imperative that you register your children as soon as possible so we can accurately prepare for this important time of fellowship, fun and formation.  If you want to register or if you have questions see the box below.  

Please pray for our youth as they embark on a summer retreat this weekend, June 11-14 at Valle Crucis, North Carolina.  It should be a great time of fun with hope of deeper faith and love for God and each other because of the time we spend.

Join us for a week of fun filled activity as we explore the Apostle Paul and the Underground Church. Bring your friends, brothers and sisters to share in the journey that will help us all in our faith.
