Collect for the week
Almighty God, whom truly to know is everlasting life: Grant us so perfectly to know your Son Jesus Christ to be the way, the truth, and the life, that we may steadfastly follow his steps in the way that leads to eternal life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Friends,

What a wonderful weekend!

We netted over $2000.00 in the rummage sale.  It was a lot of work, sweat, a little bit of chaos but in the end a huge success.  A huge debt of gratitude to Anna Spencer and the large team of folks who gave items for sale, time, energy and effort. Let's do this again  - though not any time soon :-)

What a tremendous Sunday with Lillian, Juliette and Joshua joining the church in baptism.   A beautiful new baptismal font - (thank you Larry and Rich) and a celebration of the FRUIT OF THE KINGDOM that we are seeing in us and through us at Incarnation.

We continue the Easter Season Celebration with Thomas Buchan's ordination to the transitional diaconate.  (look in the column for details)  The whole congregation is invited to attend this special service and day.   Also we are asked to contribute to the reception following the service.  Sponsoring churches of the "ordinands" have been assigned various items to bring. If you would like to help out by bringing either cheese & crackers or chips & dips you can let Thomas know via email at tnbuchan3@aol.com.  The following day is Pentecost Sunday and Thomas will be Deacon at that service.  We will be taking up a special offering that Sunday to help Thomas get all things he will need in his ministry.   We get to do this again in six months or so when Thomas will be ordained to the priesthood - stay tuned!

It is a very full and rich life when we follow Jesus.  We are bound to Christ in faith and love and as we live as branches abiding in the vine, being fed and nourished. "Sealed and Marked" in baptism - what an amazing gift of grace to us!  This is what we were designed for and in this committed life we find JOY beyond measure.

Living where blessings abound!
