Collect for the week
Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Carvaggio's - The Incredulity of St. Thomas
Dear Friends,

We have a busy few weeks ahead in our life together.  This Sunday we welcome Stephanie Seefeldt as our worship leader in the morning and for a concert Sunday afternoon. Stephanie is a gifted musician and anointed in her ministry of music.  I have a couple of her CD's (thanks again Rev. Sarah) and she has a way of ministering in song that moves me deeply in my love for Christ.  This is a real treat for us as Stephanie lives in Wisconsin and does not make it to Florida very often.   Check out the announcement in the left column for details.

On May 9th we will have church wide Rummage Sale from 8am-3pm at the Mission House.  We will collect items over the next few weeks; ideally if you could deliver your donated items on Thursday (5/7) or Friday (5/8) to the Mission House that would really help us out.  If you need help or a truck to pick things up we will assist you.  We need folks to help price items and set-up; work the sale on Saturday and tear down / clean-up on Saturday afternoon. Anna Spencer is coordinating our sale and for more information, to schedule a pick up or volunteer please contact her at: AMTSpencer@aol.com

Additionally:
May 10th we will have several folks baptized.
      May 21st Ascension Day Service
May 30th Thomas Buchan's ordination to the
transitional diaconate. (held at the Cathedral)
      May 31st  PENTECOST

In all of these ventures we are moving forward. Incarnation continues to grow.   There is much to fuel us in this journey but faith is the path we walk.  We trust, believe and cling to Christ Jesus looking to Him the pioneer of our faith (Heb. 12).  As we walk there will be moments of doubt - The disciple Thomas had them and if we are all honest we have days that shake our own faith.  Yet there are the moments when we get a glimpse of Jesus at work in this world and when we do we echo Thomas' words - My Lord and my God.   May especially this season of Easter and really all our lives be filled with a vision of Christ that urges us on deeper into the Kingdom.

Living where blessings abound!
