Dear PCC Family & Friends,
Summer is here! Kids are out of school and many of us will take well deserved vacations or time to just put our feet up and relax. Whatever you do this summer, I want you to know that your PCC family is thinking and praying for you. If you do travel: be careful and come home safe.
 During the month of June, we are joining with thousands of other churches around the world for a movement called One Prayer 2010. Christians around the globe will join forces to reach our world with the power of Christ's love. This partnership is being formed across continents, cultures and denominational lines. Last year, over 4 million believers came together for this historic event.
During this time, we will continue our One Initiative as we pray for God's direction and wisdom as He gives us One Mind - the mind of Christ. As a way to respond, we will be gathering supplies for both Wimauma and Kenya to meet the physical needs of the people.
We've never done an event like this so we are excited as we step out and experiment with new ways of bridging the gap between PCC and other churches. However, we know, that when thousands of churches scattered across the globe unite...we will be UNSTOPPABLE.
Over the next few months, some very exciting things are getting ready to happen as we see a transformation on our patio and in our church. Like many of you, I don't like to wait...especially when I know something great is about to happen. However, during this waiting period as we seek God in prayer for the future of our church and our own personal lives, we know God is working - always working to get us ready.
So let me prepare you by raising your level of expectation. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him". Do you believe that? I do because I've seen things happen that only GOD could do! Whether you believe it or fully comprehend it, let me challenge you to pray for it. "God, expand my imagination of what you can do and want to do in my life and in my church".
When God begins to do His thing - it will be UNSTOPPABLE!!

PCC Creative Team Openings
 The PCC Media Department is putting together an experimental team for the Fall. This team will use it's God-given creativity to generate innovative ideas for our Fall sermon series.
We are looking for people who can commit about 4-5 hours a month. Creative meetings will be one evening a month.

Join us on Monday evenings for this very informative financial series. This series will show you how to manage your budget, inspire you to live debt free, and help you understand how to manage your finances in a way that will enable you to respond to God's calling for your life in a manner that will honor Him.

Materials needed: Study Guide Workbook (approximate cost $15)

Annual Nursing Home Giveaway
On Sunday, June 6th at 11:30 am, we will be taking Mother's Day and Father's Day gift bags to the Pinellas Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Home next door. This is our chance to minister to our wonderful elderly neighbors. Many of the residents never get a visit, so on this special day we will demonstrate the love of God in a real way by hand delivering bags filled with toiletry items, such as lotions, soaps, shampoo, etc. If you would like to participate, please complete a feedback card and indicate how many bags you will provide. Then come on out on June 6th as we walk over to the nursing home for our visit.
