Hey PCC Family & Friends
It's been a busy summer around PCC and my home, but school
has started and a new year is upon us. With it come new possibilities.
Join us beginning September 13th, as we begin a
brand new series entitled "FEAR-LESS." We live in a world of fear...anxiety over the next round of
layoffs, the newest flu strain, and the threat of an impending terrorist
attack. Can you imagine a life untouched by fear? Yet, this is exactly the life that awaits those who
understand the power of faith in God rather than the fear of this world. I encourage you not to miss any of these
six messages as we explore different aspects of how to build a life without
fear. In fact, invite a friend to come with you by either giving them an
invitation card or sending them an eVite from our website.
Speaking of our new website, it was launched this past week. I know you will find our new website much
easier to navigate. It is filled
with a lot of very practical tools and information, so I hope you'll check it
out and take it for a "ride."
One of the things we've worked hard at is to help us all
stay connected. Under the "Connect" link, you'll find info about the PCC
Facebook page as well as Twitter. We will be using these two Internet
tools much more in the future to better communicate and help you stay in touch
with one another. If you haven't already become a fan of the PCC Facebook page or joined Twitter, sign up today.
Finally, mark September 26th on your calendar. That's the day of our all church Luau and
baptisms at Fort Desoto. It's a great place to meet new people and hang
out with "old" friends, as well as celebrate new life with those who are
beginning a new life with Christ. Get more details online.
It's a new day here at PCC and God has much that he wants to
do IN us and THRU us. I'm excited as to what the future holds for you and
our PCC family!
Be the Church,
Pastor Mark

Friend Day - Sept. 13
Did you know...7 out of 10 un-churched people have never been invited to church in their whole life? That is amazing!
At PCC, we try to create an environment that makes it easier for you to invite people. Sunday, September 13th, is Friend Day. This is a great opportunity for you to invite someone that needs Christ to PCC. During all three services, we will have "our version" of Fear Factor...live on the stage!
Be sure to grab a invitation card, Fear-less direct-mail piece, and/or invite someone using our new eVite at www.pcconline.tv.
