From the Director's Desk
Well, the school year is slowly grinding to a halt...can you feel it! But the month of April was all about TCAP testing. It is always an exciting time for MAHS students and staff, as I'm sure it is for everyone in the school system. I feel pretty good about our students' TCAP performance. They have worked hard throughout the entire school year and our staff feels confident about their performance as well. Indeed, the preliminary results below are a good sign.
The month of May is referred to as "MAHS Maddness!" There is so much going on throughout the month of May it is hard to keep up (testing, field trips, graduation, prom, etc.)! Listed below are the remaining activities, so please post them on your calendar.
FYI: Middle school TCAP results won't be back until mid June.
Don't forget, you can find more information about MAHS at our WEBSITE at http://mahsmiddleandhigh.com/. Take care! Curtis Weathers, Executive Director |

MAHS Tutors Are The BEST!

Without a doubt, MAHS has some of the best tutors in the business! Led by All Star Master Tutor, Deke Iglehart, the volunteer tutoring team at MAHS is second to none. This month, MAHS faculty and staff showed our love with gifts of appreciation, books for the students, and an appreciation lunch at the school. We want to thank our tutors for their hard work and dedication, because without them our students could not make the progress they are making. MAHS tutors are recruited and trained by Marilyn Rabinowitz from Volunteer Memphis.
Thank you Volunteer Memphis! Thank you International Paper! Thank you University of Memphis! Thank you Volunteer Tutors!!
