Dear MAHS Supporter,
January 20, 2009 will be a special day for all Americans and citizens around the world. Barack Obama, an African American, will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. The 100 Black Men Of MAHS (100BMM), High School Chapter, wants to invite you to our school to witness and help celebrate this historic event.
These young men will sponsor an Inaugural Celebration that you will not want to miss. At the same time we will celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The program will start at 8:00 a.m. with a special one hour program. Then, at 9:00 a.m., the entire student body, along with our special guest (you), will watch the Inaugural Swearing-In ceremony and listen as President Obama addresses the world with his acceptance speech.
This will be a special program, on a very special day, celebrating a very special historic event. We would love to have you as our guest!
RSVP by Monday, January 19th.
Sincerely,
Curtis Weathers
