Dear Teachers,
We hope you are having a fantastic summer! At TpT we're gearing up for another amazing school year, and we can't wait to help empower you and your teaching. It starts today.
How do we know that we will have an impact? Well, let's look at some historical data. Over the last three school years, you have deemed teacher-created resources on TpT valuable enough to enrich our incredible contributors in dramatically increasing increments. What you can't see yet is what will happen during the 2012/2013 school year. But I have a prediction! It will surpass $20,000,000.
That's because our contributors--whose ranks grow by the hundreds every week--are hard at work developing the absolute highest quality resources they can, and then working harder to make them even better. Their materials work because, um, duh, they are made by real teachers who know how to teach real students. They weren't dreamed up by some corporate conglomerate looking to satisfy its shareholders. And they are offering over 37,000 free resources that you've downloaded over 40,000,000 times! Our teacher-authors just get it, and you reward them with your choices. It's a no brainer.
One of our users said it best on our recent Facebook fan page post:
High Five, Holly Urban Palermo. See all of you every Sunday morning with your coffee, bagel and TpT. In fact, see you every day.
Teach and be well,
Paul Edelman @TpTFounder

TpT SPOTLIGHT
There are 1000s of Back to School resources on TpT and several ways to find them. A keyword search sorted by Best Sellers brings up these results. Or you can go directly to the Back to School category sorted by ratings. Happy hunting.
We have many earnings announcements to make which we do to acknowledge excellence on TpT at the 20k, 75K, 500K and 1M milestones. Reaching 75k in earnings--whoot!--were Jodi Durgin (Clutter Free Classroom) who actually rocketed past it and hit 100k this week, Wise Guys, Julie Lee, Lindsey Erickson (The Teacher Wife), and Amy Lemons for whom it only took one year! And reaching 20K in earnings--sweet!--were Pam Ballingall (Pocketful of Centers), Laura Candler, Hilary Lewis, Missy Lane, A Cupcake for the Teacher, and Jamie Rector. Huge congrats to all and we wish you many more years of giving and getting back.
This year we plan to bring you a Google+ Hangout speaker series with your favorite sellers. In the meantime, Google+ is sponsoring a pretty cool summer camp for teachers and students interested in making real things. Check it out here.
As usual, we hope you find the 10 free downloads below useful!
