PROGRAM
Our student, Aymeric van den Hove,
was a little shy when he arove
And settled with the family Ware,
Who took him almost everywhere.
Today he shared his valedict'ry.
He survived the year - What a vict'ry!
"A Crazy Year," he shared with us
Before boarding his Safari bus.
He shared his photos, shared his story,
All covered in artistic glory.
He made five films while he was here
(I think he's planned out his career.)
Speaking of films, he shared his latest
(He thought it was not the greatest)
"The Holy Man," though, had us clapping
as we watched his skills unwrapping.
He acted in the school productions.
His hair made very few reductions.
He told us of his life in Brussels
While flexing his great smiling muscles.
He talked of friends, and how it's hard
to make them in a new schoolyard.
He talked of people, he talked of beer.
(He can drink in Belgium, but he can't drink here.)
He thanked us all for things we'd done
and inviting him to join the fun.
Not even Brad could stand to diss him
because we all will surely miss him.
AN APOLOGIA (or, EVERY DOGGEREL HAS ITS DAY)
A week is gone, and I confess
My time management has been a mess
I hope my stab at making rhyme
Makes up a little for all the time
That has gone by since our last meeting.
(I hope I live through Ron Brown's beating.)
And as this ditty draws to a close,
Next week, I promise, it's back to prose.
EDITOR'S RESPONSE
Roses are red
Rich is iconic,
By now we should know
He's also psychotic!
