RIDE UNITED 100 & 50 mile bike ride to benefit United Way
 

Ride United is a fundraising and awareness event to support work in strengthening communites.  This event benefits United Way of the Lakeshore in Muskegon, Newaygo and Oceana counties.  Registration fee is $75 per rider, and each rider then collects pledges.  Register by August 17 to receive a Ride United jersey.  Please visit www.ridemi.org and click the register tab to download the registration form and the pledge form.   

 

100 Mile Route:  Start at the Hart-Montague Trail in Hart and ends at the DTE Energy building, 2359 Olthoff Drive, Muskegon.  Starting time is 8 a.m.

  

50 Mile Route:  Riders willing to participate in the 50 mile tour start at the DTE Energy building at approximately 12 p.m.  Riders will follow the Musketawa Trail to Marne, looping back and ending in unison with the 100 mile riders at the DTE Energy building.

CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF for Muskegon County
 

Join United Way volunteers as we kick-off the 2012 campaign from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at DTE Energy, 2359 Olthoff Drive, Muskegon.  Food kick off

and refreshments will be provided.  The kick-off is planned to follow the end of the Ride United bike ride.

DAY OF CARING 2012 19th Annual Event
 

Join United Way and hundreds of community volunteers as we complete community renovation projects at Wesley Park (2308 Marquette Avenue) in Muskegon Township and Rotary Park, located next to Heritage Landing.

 

 

8:00 to 9:00 a.m. - Pancake breakfast provided by the Muskegon

Lions Club, served at Wesley Park.

 

8:30 to 9:30 a.m. - Registration at each site.

 

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Day of Caring projects.

 

12:00 p.m. - Free lunch provided by Plumb's at both sites.

The American Red Cross will serve the Wesley Park volunteers.

 

1:00 to 3:00 p.m. - Complete Day of Caring projects.
