The Calculus of Permanence

Workplace accidents resulting in permanent disabilities are the most expensive workers' comp claims.
Fortunately, only about 1.1 percent of workers' comp indemnity claims involve permanent disability.
However, these cases represent 11.4% of the costs of claims, according to a 2005 study by the National Council of Compensation Insurers titled "Demographic Factors to Consider: Calculating Lifetime Awards on Workers' Compensation Claims," by John Robertson and Dan Corro.

Make 'm Smile - Nathaniel's Hope
TMS was happy to participate in this year's Make 'm Smile event put on by the Nathaniel's Hope organization.
Make 'm Smile is a community festival that celebrates kids with special needs (VIP kids) and their families. The event features a Buddy Stroll where VIP families are "buddied up" with people from around the community for a stroll around Lake Eola in Orlando, Florida.
Total Medical Solutions offered wheelchair adjustments, cleaning, and fun giveaways for the kids. We left the event with a heart full of joy and knowing we are coming back next year! We highly recommend this event to everybody in the Orlando area.
