We are asking for your help in an urgent time-sensitive matter regarding the historic Agua Caliente sign in downtown San Diego painted on the California Theatre.

 

We are asking you to write the Mayor and council, requesting them to intervene to rescind the unilateral decision made by the Historical Resources Board (HRB) staff to allow a beer advertiser to paint over the original Caliente artwork with a new beer ad and that this item be sent to the Historic Resources Board, where it should have been heard in the first place, for proper review and consideration as a historic and cultural resource.
