Our History
KCC FH Building
Kid's Community CollegeŽ admitted its first undergraduate students in March 2003. The opening of our Lake St. Charles campus in Riverview, FL marked the culmination of a concerted visionary effort to establish a new independent institute of higher learning and quality care for early learners.

Today, Kid's Community CollegeŽ is recognized as a nationally accredited premier preschool and advanced elementary public school of choice, offering undergraduate (preschool), graduate (elementary) and vocational (supplemental educational service) programs.   Premiere care giving, individualized instruction, technology and teaching meaningful and relevant to each student's distinct, practical world is our primary focus. The college is committed to generating, disseminating and preserving knowledge and to utilizing multiple delivery methods to bring this knowledge to our students. We are dedicated to providing our students with an educational experience that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse curriculum and thematic learning environment.

In the years since our humble beginnings, the Kid's Community CollegeŽ model for high-quality early childhood education has become synonymous with excellence in individualized learning. Our growth and success has been customer driven and rests in one of our most treasured commodities - our early learners. Our franchise offering is a natural extension of our desire to serve, while purposefully fulfilling an essential business segment need. The response to our franchise offering has been great and we look forward to expanding our concept with you.
Our Philosophy

The Kid's Community CollegeŽ Educational Philosophy is built on a simple principle: "Every student is a unique individual with unique needs, capabilities and desires." Our philosophy is strengthened by our core values:
  • Student's use of their preferred method of intelligence must be recognized, encouraged, respected and developed
  •  Instructional activities should appeal to different forms of intelligence
  • Assessments must measure multiple forms of developmental intelligence
  • Early developmental and academic success is the key to a foundational love of lifelong learning
  • Education and development must be personalized
Our objective is to ensure that all students will be given every possible opportunity to develop their individual intellectual curiosity, physical well-being, moral values, self-esteem, artistic appreciation and expression, interpersonal skills and academic abilities.

KCC Boy With Crayons
The Kid's Community CollegeŽ franchise model is the first franchise offering to marry early childhood education, elementary education and supplemental educational services.  Listed below is information related to each of these industries as reported by the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Census Bureau and The National Center for Education Statistics. The Kid's Community College franchise network takes full advantage of the benefits of serving the combined needs in these leading business industry sectors, which represent nearly $520 Billion in services annually.

The "Childcare" Industry
Child day care services provided about 807,000 wage and salary jobs in 2006. There were an additional 467,000 self-employed and unpaid family workers in the industry, most of whom were family child care providers, although some were self-employed managers of child care centers.

Jobs in child day care are found across the country, mirroring the distribution of the population. However, day care centers are less common in rural areas, where there are fewer children to support a separate facility. Child day care operations vary in size, from the self-employed person caring for a few children in a private home to the large corporate-sponsored center employing a sizable staff.

Child Day Care services represent a $13 Billion industry.

Elementary Charter School Education
Because school attendance is compulsory until at least age 16 in all 50 States and the District of Columbia, elementary, middle, and secondary schools are the most numerous of all educational establishments. They provide academic instruction to students in kindergarten through grade 12 in a variety of settings, including public schools, parochial schools, boarding and other private schools, and military academies. Some secondary schools offer a mixture of academic and career and technical instruction.

In an effort to promote innovation in public education, many local and State governments have authorized the creation of public charter schools, in the belief that, by presenting students and their parents with a greater range of instructional options, schools and students will be encouraged to strive for excellence. Charter schools, which usually are run by teachers and parents or, increasingly, by private firms, operate independently of the school system, set their own standards, and practice a variety of innovative teaching methods.

Pubic education represents a nearly $500 Billion industry. There are nearly 3,500 pubic charter schools.

Supplemental Educational Services
Supplemental educational services are additional academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of students. These services mainly consist of varying types of tutoring services.
