to join us for
a
Royal Tea at the Shoppes on Main in downtown Fuquay.
Come in your finest gown and be
prepared to spend the morning with the royalty of the area. Princess Phobie and Princess Tillie of
Princess Parties, Inc will be there to entertain you. Balloon art and additional princess attire will be
available.
Local royalty, the
Little Miss Garner court will be joining in on the fun. A time for royal pictures and
autographs will also be held.
The party will be held in the Royal Courtyard of the Shoppes
on Main on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 10 am -12 noon.
To enter the kingdom, we ask that you
bring 3 cans or boxes of food for those less fortunate. We are collecting for the Fuquay Food
Bank. You must register for

We offer a local drop-off site for your gently used eyewear. Come in when you can and donate your unwanted eyeglasses. All eyeglass donations go directly to our local Lion's Club, and are then shipped to one of the many Lion's Club Eyeglass Recylcling Centers, where volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Most of the recycled glasses are distributed to people in need in developing countries where they will have the greatest impact. The Lion's Club can accept prescription and reading glasses, sunglasses and plastic and metal frames. Children's glasses are especially needed. Stop by or call us for more information.

Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 8 pm at the Fuquay Mineral Spring. Chef Sharon Ricks teaches these wonderful and FUN classes. Chef Sharon earned an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Wake Technical Community. Her culinary style combines elegance with simplicity, together providing each student with a truly memorable event. Chef Sharon believes in a hands-on approach to teaching customers of any age. "It's the only way to build confidence in cooking," says Chef Sharon. The classes are fun and interactive, while being educational. It's all about turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
The cost is $45 per person per class or $200 per person for 5 classes. Each class discusses healthy cooking tips for each dish and in general what one can do to cook healthier each day. Classes have no more than 10 people per class so individual attention is assured! Classes will begin in January.
