Cake Contest Categories
Judged on Taste and Presentation
1) Best Chocolate Cake (any kind-be creative!)
2) Best Pound Cake
3) Best Family Favorite Recipe Cake
4) For Men Only Division (You have to be a man to enter! Any recipe)
Judged on Presentation Only
5) Best Decorated Cupcakes -Age 16 and Under
6) Best Decorated Cake - Amateur Division
7) Best Decorate Cake - Professional Division
Each cake entry is $5.00 and the entry deadline is Friday, September 18, 2009. A panel of 5 judges will judge cake entries at 10am on Saturday, September 26th.
Pieces of each cake entered in categories 1-5 will be sold to the public for tasting.
Decorated Cake Categories 6 and 7 will be auctioned. Fuquay-Varina is celebrating its Centennial Year, so Fuquay-Varina is the theme for Decorated Cake Categories 6 & 7. Use your imagination! Cupcake entries can use any theme for decorating.
All proceeds will benefit revitalization efforts in Historic Downtown Fuquay-Varina.
