Invitation to Musicians and Performers for June 6 by the Arts Council |
| The Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is hosting donated art from local artist at the June 6 Celebration of the Arts in Downtown Fuquay-Varina. We will have some adjoining space which we will be setting up a small PA system and a couple of microphones for a few local performers who may like to donate their time and get some local exposure, as well as support our the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council.
The Town will be having their larger stages with the bigger scheduled acts. Our location will be suited to more like a street performance to entertain and draw interest to our exhibit. This is not a venue for a full up band, more like pickers, solo, duets or something like a small bluegrass quartet, of course jugglers, magicians, etc would also be considered. No elaborate setups and we may be doing up to 30 minute sets, depending on the number of volunteer performers.
Sorry, there is no money this time! But. We are planning to start concert series and annual Festival in town and same time we are gathering information about local talents. (introduction/showcase)
Please e-mail us at: ArtsInFV@aol.com with a description of what you would like to do and a contact information. We will be in immediate touch to discuss details.
Thank you for your consideration to support our efforts to spread the art...
David Morris - President, Fuquay-Varina Arts Council Fuquay-VarinaArtsCouncil.org
