| Downtown Cruise-In Schedule Announced May-July |
| The Fuquay-Varina Revitalization Association will host a Classic Car Cruise-In from 5-9 pm the third Friday of each month from May through July (May 15, June 19, July 17) in downtown historic Fuquay-Varina. There is no entry fee to exhibit a classic car at the Downtown Cruise-In. Parking is on a first come basis. Pre-1975 cars welcome. Raffles, Music, Food On-Site. Food coupon for 1st 75 cars. 50/50 drawing.

Strawberry Saturday's at the Chocolate Bean |
"Strawberry Saturdays" are coming! Starting in May we will have fresh-dipped chocolate covered strawberries available all day (or at least while they last). We've had lots of requests for berries throughout the year so be sure to stop by early. Taste the best of locally grown and hand-made berries. Available individually.
The area's original Gelateria, we have recently doubled our flavor capacity to bring you even more exciting creations. If you haven't tried gelato, come see what you're missing! | Charity Sale at Belk on May 3 Benefits Local Charities and Gives You Big Discounts |
In return for a $5 donation, customers receive a ticket admitting them to the Charity Sale on May 3 from 6 to 10 a.m. and entitling them to merchandise discounts ranging from 20 to 50 percent on purchases throughout the store (excluding cosmetics and fragrances).
Customers also receive $5 off their first purchase of $5 or more at the event, and Belk
cardholders will receive double points for card purchases.

Hand of Hope Walk for Life on Sunday, May 3 |
The 4th Annual Walk for Life will be held on Sunday, May 3 at South Park with registration beginning at 1:00 pm and the walk starting at 2:00 pm. Live entertainment, concessions, prizes, silent auction and Hope House Raffle!

| Coin Club Meeting - Tuesday, May 12 at 7 pm |

We had a great turnout at our April meeting. We had two guest speakers from the North Carolina Numismatic Association. There appearance was very much appreciated. We will continue to meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We welcome anyone interested or think they may be in collecting coins, currency or tokens. There are no age limits. It is open to all. This is not only Fuquay- Varina's 100th anniversary but also the 100th year of the Lincoln Cent as well. As a club we are going try to man a booth at the Celebrate Fuquay Event on Saturday June 6th if possible. We may also be holding several raffles in the near future to raise money for the club. More information will follow so check out the web site often.
