On Saturday, January 31st (that's this Saturday) Stick Boy will be celebrating its very first birthday and we're throwing a birthday party. Please join us at the bakery on Saturday for a FREE cup of coffee, piece of cake, and a cookie. The Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is Sponsoring a Festival of Dance on Sunday, February 8th from 3 - 5 pm at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center. Come see a special performances by Golden Gates of Russia and area dance companies including Center Stage Dance School of Performing Arts, Main Street Dance, Infinity Ballet Conservatory, Fuquay-Varina Community Dance Academy and Studio Five Dance Company. The 6th annual Celebration of the Arts will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Historic Downtown Fuquay-Varina and attracts more than 4000 visitors during the one-day event. The festival is open to all artists and fine crafts people producing original work.
