The International League of Conservation Photographers and Art for
Conservation are working together on an unprecedented fine art gallery exhibition of photography by some of the world's most significant conservation photographers. The 35 images in the exhibition were chosen both for their artistic quality and strength of conservation message.
Twenty-two ILCP Photographers are included in the exhibit: Gary Braasch, Connie Bransilver, Annie Griffiths Belt, Alison Jones, Frans Lanting, Garth Lenz, Chris Linder, Balan Madhavan, Cristina Mittermeier, Boyd Norton, Pete Oxford, Norbert Rosing, Joel Sartore, Kevin Schafer, Florian Schulz, Wendy Shattil, Igor Shpilenok, Roy Toft, Michele Westmorland, Staffan Widstrand and Art Wolfe.
A VIP reception is being held on October 2, from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Collective Gallery in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado. The gallery exhibit will run through October 30 and then will move to The Center for Fine Art Photography to run concurrent with its "Our Environment: the Good, Bad and the Ugly" juried exhibition.
All of the photos in the exhibition are being presented as gallery wrapped canvas giclées in sizes ranging from 18x28 to 32x48. The giclées, which were printed by Fine Print Imaging, are being offered for sale with proceeds benefitting the individual photographers and ILCP.
