Being back in the northeast where I also grew up has been a joy for me, in part because of the changes in season that are so much more pronounced here than other places I've lived. If you've enjoyed the beautiful fall colors as much as I have, I wonder if you've also reflected on how change can be transformational and beautiful...

The Town Halls will follow the regional meetings being held at each location. The town hall portion of the meetings are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Come to the 2012 PJ Round-Up Kick-Off on October 20! 

PJ Round Up 2011 Patch Come to a FREE movie at the Palace Theater in Syracuse! Bring a donation of new pajamas for women, girls or boys to the PJ Round-Up kick-off on Saturday, October 20 at 11:30a.m. and you can see Alvin and the Chipmunks - Chipwrecked. Troop leaders that bring Girl Scouts will also receive a Delta Sonic coupon for one free car wash! PJ Round-Up is sponsored by the Girl Scouts, Summit Federal Credit Union, Progressive Graphics & Printing, and Enterprise. The pajamas are donated to families in transition through various agencies.

Ashdon Farms Products Not Affected by Recall! 
The QSP products girls are selling this fall through Ashdon Farms are NOT affected by the widespread peanut butter recall. Ashdon Farms receives their peanut butter from a company named American Blanching. The company involved in the recall is Sunland. So take this opportunity to stock up on QSP products and magazine subscriptions! 
Have You Seen the New Cookie Boxes? 
Girl Scouts of the USA released the first redesign of the Girl Scout cookie boxes since 1999. The new boxes feature the entrepreneurship and business literacy skills that Girl Scouts aims to teach its members. For more and to see a description of what is on the new cookie box, click here.
