We're surrounded by social media--Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others!  With this lightning fast-paced age of technology, taking time to connect in-person seems like moving through water.  I love connecting with my friends and colleagues online-- I can keep current on the lives of friends close and far. There is no other feeling than connecting with someone face-to-face.

Every September I meet up with my AssistU colleagues, other Virtual Assistants trained through the Virtual Training Program, during a weekend called Homecoming.  Once a year we recognize outstanding community members and spend time with those we connect with virtually the rest of the year.  There are no words to describe how special this event is to those of us who attend.  We don't have to explain what we do or how we work, we just "get" it!  The feeling is like coming home.

If the only way you are connecting with your clients or customers is by way of a computer, you are missing a critical piece of the relationship.  Humans are social creatures.  We connect best when we can use our senses.  Start a relationship virtually, and then make it a priority to get together in person once in a while.  You'll be surprised how it deepens your relationship!

Getting Started with Send Out Cards!

There are two ways to get started with Send Out Cards: Retail package and Wholesale package.

The Wholesale Premium Package offers the best value, provides you with all the options in one convenient package, and allows you to continually purchase points and products at the lowest price.


The second way to start is to become a retail customer. With several retail packages available, the Preferred Package includes the most system options, or you can choose packages with fewer options if you only occasionally send cards.


Tip: Pick the package that's right for your card sending needs.


When I first started with Send Out Cards, I purchased what is now the Retail Package Plus.  I didn't know if this would be a program I would use, so I started off cautious.  I knew I would send at least 5-10 birthday cards a month.  Within a few months, I was hooked and sending out 20 cards each month, including birthday and other kinds.  I upgraded to the Entrepreneur account to take advantage of the savings and income possibilities.  Wherever you start, just start!  Try a gift account and go from there!

Start Thinking of your Holiday Promotions!

As we head into October, the rare few who start holiday shopping now are starting to buy and plan.  Those early birds are more likely to get great deals and spend their holiday enjoying the festivities rather than waiting in lines at the stores. 

Promotional  Product factories get busy too!  So they offer incentives to placing your order sooner, rather than later.  That way they have enough time to produce your product and ship it to you without rushing.  It costs extra to RUSH.
