Dear Parents,
Every year, a new group of children sit in their chairs, clutching their Torah and recite the words of the Sh'ma with the Rabbi. It is so exciting to watch their faces and those of their friends and family. It is the beginning of their formal Jewish education here at Temple Emanu-El. Hopefully they will be inspired by their teachers and continue on here through at least tenth grade, Kabbalat Torah.
I would like to congratulate each and every one of these beautiful children and thank their families for honoring us with their attendance. Jacob Belasco, Braden Jackel, Eliot Koenig, Levi Laddon, Zoe Linden, Benjamin Nachman, Nicolas Nachman, Jarrah Newman, Jared Sarvis, Amelia Schenck, Rubin Smith, David Weiss, Joshua Morse, River Perino and Emilie Harmon. May you grow in strength and wisdom. L'Shalom, Cathy
