Temple Emanu-El Torah Hebrew School
Rabbi Morton J. Cohn Torah/Hebrew School

2010
Dear Parents,

Every year, a new group of children sit in their chairs, clutching their Torah and recite the words of the Sh'ma with the Rabbi.  It is so exciting to watch their faces and those of their friends and family.  It is the beginning of their formal Jewish education here at Temple Emanu-El.  Hopefully they will be inspired by their teachers and continue on here through at least tenth grade, Kabbalat Torah.

I would like to congratulate each and every one of these beautiful children and thank their families for honoring us with their attendance.  Jacob Belasco, Braden Jackel, Eliot Koenig, Levi Laddon, Zoe Linden, Benjamin Nachman, Nicolas Nachman, Jarrah Newman, Jared Sarvis, Amelia Schenck, Rubin Smith, David Weiss, Joshua Morse, River Perino and Emilie Harmon.  May you grow in strength and wisdom.

L'Shalom,

Cathy

Pilates will tone, strengthen and sculpt your body while increasing joint mobility, flexibility and mental clarity. Pilates is designed to bring your body back to healthy alignment and teach better postural habits. In mat Pilates, we will strengthen your body from its core to provide stability and balance. Joseph Pilates said, "Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness."

The cost is $12 per session. If you purchase 8 - 10 classes in advance for a month, there is a $5 discount. To reserve your space contact Jessica Kort or Joni Cohen in the Temple office or call (619) 286-2555.

Please bring a mat and water, wear comfortable clothes and join me in a fun and energizing exercise experience.
