How To Support Girls, Even If You're Not Participating  Everyone
Place an order with a Girl Scout you know or email
nuts@GirlScoutsOC.org to be linked to a local Girl Scout. Nuts, unique snack items and magazines make great personal and corporate holiday gifts.

Parents Wanted!Everyone
Your troop may be waiting for someone like you to step up and lend your support and expertise!  We'll provide you with easy online training for you to help your Troop with the Fall Product or Cookie Programs.  You can help with  the Troop Fall Product Team, Booth Sales or share your skills with girls on topics such as Financial Literacy (there's a badge for that!).

Send Magazines to Our Wounded MilitaryEveryone

Here's a great idea - buy a subscription to Readers Digest from a Girl Scout and send it to Operation Quiet Comfort, which sends care and comfort items to our wounded military personnel in Afghanistan. Each bag contains a Readers Digest to give the person something to read while healing.  Send the subscriptions to: (Your Name), 17671 13th Rd., Plymouth, IN 46563.  Use a different name for each subscription, not OCQ, to provide more copies rather than a renewal.

Yorba Linda Junior Troop 1260 rode the bus from the YL Scout House to Brea for dinner and back as part of earning their Independence Badge. Each girl paid for her own bus fare, ordered her meal and paid for it by herself. It was the first time on a public bus for most of the fifteen 4th and 5th graders!

Inspire other troops by sharing your great girl activities on the GirlScoutsOC Facebook Page.
