Girl Scouts Celebrate Leadership Everyone

Join us at our largest fundraising event of the year as we honor twelve outstanding Girl Scout Alumnae, at our Third Annual Celebrate Leadership Gala on October 26.  Each honoree will be paired with a girl representative at the event, connecting these leaders of today with our leaders of tomorrow.  Support Girl Scouts by attending or placing a tribute ad or by purchasing a raffle ticket for a pearl necklace valued at $5,900.

 

Girl Scout Senior and Ambassador Staff for Cadette-O-Ramashorthand - seniors shorthand ambassadors

Staff positions are available for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors in 9-12th grade at Cadette-O-Rama on October 12-14. This is a great opportunity to have fun while serving as a role model for Girl Scout Cadettes.  Staff must attend a meeting on OCtober 3 at Council Headquarters.    Learn more or download the staff application.

US Mint Unveils Girl Scout Commemorative CoinEveryone

For the very first time, the United States Mint will produce a  commemorative coin dedicated to a girls' organization - the Girl Scouts USA Centennial Silver Dollar!  The commemorative Silver Dollar coin will be available in 2013 - click here for more info or watch the unveiling.

New Incentives for Fall Product Program Everyone

Troops grossing $850+ (magazines & nuts combined) in the 2012 Fall Product Program that did not participate in the 2011 Fall Product Program will receive a Girl Scout branded tablecloth.  Troops grossing $1500+ will earn 24 hour early access to the Booth Scheduler in Snap for Cookies 2013.  It's not too late for your Troop to participate.  Visit www.GSCookiesEtc.org for training information and helpful hints.

Join us at Cadette-O-Rama this year for 100 years of celebration! Whether you are new to Girl Scouting or started out as a Daisy, you won't want to miss this annual outdoor skills weekend camping event for Girl Scout Cadettes. 

Healthy Relationships Workshop  - Oct. 20 Cadettes shorthand - seniors shorthand ambassadors

Girl Scout troop #2411 invites all older Girl Scouts to attend an important workshop on Healthy Relationships and Prevention of Teenage Domestic/Dating Violence.  This program was last year's GSOC Distinguished Service Award winner and space is limited.  Questions, contact Donna at gs2411@roadrunner.com

Experience the Bowers Kidseum as you create a  coil pot, make sand art, taste traditional foods, and enjoy a Pow Wow with Native American dancers to earn your UNA badge! Space is limited, registration now open!

Theatre Badge Workshops - Jan. 13, 18, 19 shorthand-brownies Juniors Cadettes shorthand - seniors

Girls will participate in a workshop before the show and then watch the play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! 3 dates to choose from!

Peter Pan- You're Flying- Jan. 26 Everyone  

Sprinkle on some pixie dust and get ready for a fun adventure in Neverland! Girl Scouts are invited to a special pre-performance workshop with cast members and Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan play at the Pantages Theater. Please keep in mind that this is the same date as our Cookie Mega Drop. Please make plans accordingly.
