Exhibit Opens Friday
Be sure to visit this interactive and inspiring look at Girl Scouting - past, present and future. See familiar faces of Orange County girls, uniforms and badges throughout the decades, vote for your favorite Girl Scout Cookie and be sure to take your own commemorative Girl Scout magazine cover photo. The exhibit is on display in the Memorial Gardens building of the OC Fair from July 13-Aug 12 and is free with fair admission.
Rockin' Rally in the Pacific Amphitheater, 10:30 a.m.
Excitement is building and will be unleashed at our Rockin' Rally. Kick off Girl Scouts Rock the OC Fair with high energy entertainment, Girl Scout cheers and songs, and be part of the once-in-a-lifetime commemorative 100th Anniversary aerial photograph! Pick up your FREE Rock the Fair bracelet at the Rockin' Rally. Admission to the Rockin' Rally is free with your Fair ticket.
Volunteer and Get Free Fair Admission!
Volunteer for a two hour shift anytime from July 13-Aug 12 and you will receive free parking at the OC Fairgrounds and free admission to enjoy the fair before or after your shift! As a Trailblazer volunteer, you will have the opportunity to share your story and answer questions about Girl Scouts in the Girl Scout Exhibit in Memorial Gardens. We especially need volunteers for Saturday shifts! More info |

Fall Into Camp Fun!
Plan a weekend with our favorite Girl Scouts at Camp Scherman. Check out the fall lineup on our Programs at a Glance including:
Fall Event-Sept 21-23
Tie your laces for a hike to see fall leaves and majestic scenery, paddle a canoe on the lake, or take aim for the bulls eye at the archery range. Grab your backpack and prepare for lots of camp adventures!
 Mom and Me Boo Bash-Oct 26-28Join us camp fun and costumes for a fun filled Halloween weekend. Grab your flashlight for a late night hike under a canopy of stars, and kick back to let our cooks and counselors take care of you while you create memories you'll share for a lifetime.
Artrageous- Nov 16-18
Pom poms, glue, and sequins...Oh my! Make your own creations or have fun with tie-dye, leather crafts and beading creations, and hike around camp and enjoy fun skits and songs around the campfire! |
First Aid/CPR
First Aid/CPR is being offered in Yorba Linda on Monday, July 16th and Tuesday, July 17th from 6-10pm (must attend both nights). This course (or an equivalent) must be taken by an adult present for activities away from the normal meeting space, activities that have a potential for injury, and overnights. Course fee is $45. Over 125 Huntington Beach Girl Scouts participated in the HB July 4th parade. Girls had custom parade t-shirts, Daisies got to ride along on a special trailer, and the grand finale was a huge 100th birthday cake float complete with girls in vintage uniforms!
