Girl Scouts of Orange County                                                                                        April 17, 2012

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thanks girlsHave You Thanked Your Volunteer Lately?

Girl Scouting wouldn't be possible in Orange County without our 8,000 volunteers. During Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 15-22), please take time to thank the Girl Scout volunteer(s) who made a difference in your life, or in the lives of your daughter, sister, granddaughter, or niece.

Not sure how to share your appreciation? Volunteers tell us that the most meaningful thank-you gift is a handwritten note about the impact they've had on girls' lives. Of course, volunteers won't say no to flowers, gift certificates, and recognition items and other gifts from the GSOC Shop! But, really, just writing or saying "thank you" will make a world of difference to your dedicated Girl Scout volunteer.

Girls in K-12th grade may be nominated by a parent, troop leader, or other adult or may choose to self-nominate.  Selected girls will have various opportunities to represent GSOC and share their story with our community. Download the nomination form.
