Music Unites! - New Family Series continues with Musical Tour of the Afro-Caribbean rhythms of the Congo, Brazil, Cuba & Haiti with percussionist Jimmy Daniel at SoBe Music Institute, located at the historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse, 2100 Washington Ave, behind the 21st St Recreation Center.

 

Jimmy Daniel, percussion and drum set - Jimmy Daniel recently relocated to Miami from New York City. He has toured and recorded extensively with such greats as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, John Cougar Mellencamp, Gladys Knight and Vanessa Williams. Jimmy spent years traveling in Africa, Brazil, Cuba and Haiti performing and studying.

About "Music Unites!"
"Music Unites!" is a new series of Saturday morning performances featuring musical styles from other countries at the historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse outdoor plaza.  "Music Unites!" and "Open Friday @ SoBe Music Institute" events between April 1 and June 27 are supported in part by the Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs Department through a 3rd Quarter Community Grant and from the Audrey Love Charitable Foundation.
