BENEFITGROUP

 

This musical celebration of diverse cultures is called MUSICAL POSTCARDS from Abroad! featuring musical styles from around the world.  This colorful program includes music by Latin, Italian, French, Jewish, South American, European, American and Caribbean composer and performers.

 

Soloists include singers: Toni Anderson (Jamaica), Salvatore Gambino (Italy), Iris Rodrigues (India); harpist Andrew Chan (China); pianist Ronald Greidanus (Holland); percussionist Amin Kargaran (Iran); violinist Roderic Huynh Chan (Vietnam/China); and cellist Beata Csuka (Hungary).

 

Special feature guest soloists will be singer Joseluis Amaro (Mexico), concert violinist and former member of the SMI faculty Tomas Cotik (Argentina) and SMI faculty member trumpet artist Oscar Garcia-Montoya (Costa Rica).

 

Brampton Symphony Orchestra, now in its 21st season, is one of Canada's premiere orchestras and this will be their first U.S. performance!
