SUFFOLK COUNTY SPCA CHARGES CENTRAL ISLIP MAN WITH
ANIMAL CRUELTY

Suffolk County SPCA officials announced today that they have arrested a Central Islip man for Animal Cruelty.  Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, said that his officers received information from Suffolk County Police about a possible animal cruelty incident at a violent domestic dispute at 48 Cedar Street, Central Islip on May 11, 2008.  Upon investigation they learned from the police and witnesses that Cesar A. Moloche, 33, of the same address had picked up a small black and brown dog, threw it several feet in the air striking a small girl in the face.  The girl received an injury and the dog cried out and yelped. Suffolk County SPCA officers charged Moloche with Animal Cruelty and issued him a Field Appearance Ticket. He is due back in Court on July 1, 2008. Moloche was arrested by police on May11,2008 and charged him with endangering the welfare of a child.
