Did you know that hundreds of after school & child care programs may close in New York City this year as a result of Mayor Bloomberg's proposed budget cuts? Without access to these programs, more than 47,000 children will be denied the opportunities they need for success, and their working parents will be forced to make potentially unsafe arrangements for their children in order to keep their jobs. The Educational Alliance's programs may be affected, but we've joined the fight to advocate for them and restore the funding.
