As students across the nation prepare to graduate this spring, we're also reminded of the fact that many students don't make it to graduation day. In fact, 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the U.S every year. This month, we're highlighting the importance of higher education and sharing the ways that we have helped both youth and adults reach their full potential.

Did you know...
-70% of living-wage jobs in the U.S. require a college degree.
-In our neighborhood on the Lower East Side of New York City, only 28% of students graduate from high school.

How we support higher education access

Our highly successful College Prep program ensures that low-income teens have the resources and support to get into college and succeed once they're there. To help low-income parents get on track to college, we recently launched an innovative College Access & Success program which offers a comprehensive path to college through ESL, GED and college prep classes. The program is one-of-a-kind in New York City and was recently featured by Education Week
